After nearly two years of active development, the highly anticipated Bleach-inspired RPG, VV Ultimatum, is finally set to launch this June, as revealed in the latest official trailer. No More Delays For VV Ultimatum?
After several delays caused by unforeseen issues, one of the most anticipated upcoming Roblox action RPGs, VV Ultimatum, is finally set to launch this June. As revealed in the game's second official trailer, the new release date appears to be firmly set for Friday, June 5. Originally scheduled to launch in May (even after previous delays), the game is now poised to release during the first week of June, with the developers promising there will be no further delays.
"I have to preface this by saying the game will be dropping a couple of days after the intended schedule," wrote Tvvrtle, the main developer, over at the official Discord server. "Obviously, you guys thought it would be dropping sometime near the end of May, but new Roblox changes to publishing requirements have forced us to reconsider the date (it will be only a few days after)."
These "new Roblox changes" he is referring to are related to the recently introduced Roblox publishing requirements, which came into effect on May 19. Fortunately, the delay was relatively minor, as an additional week is hardly enough to frustrate most players.
What to Expect at Launch?
VV Ultimatum is one of the most ambitious RPG experiences we've seen in a while, both in terms of scope and in terms of quality. We were lucky enough to test the game during a closed early access testing back in April, and the game already felt exceptionally polished and filled with intricate systems. Here's what you'll be able to explore:
- A rich story: Complete the main story of VV Ultimatum through the eyes of three unique factions.
- A massive world to explore: Embark on an epic adventure as you uncover secrets, battle monsters, and discover powerful items.
- A bunch of quests: There will be dozens of main and side quests for you to complete, earning you rewards, helping you level up and grow stronger, and gradually unraveling the game's story.
- Three familiar races: Bleach fans will immediately recognize the three available starting factions: Shinigami, Quincy, and Hollow. Each offers its own abilities, combat styles, and unique evolution paths that can be unlocked as you progress through the game.
- Spirit Charms - Spirit Charms can provide powerful passive effects and alter your gameplay, but they often come at a cost.
- Deadly Weapons - No action RPG is complete without some weaponry, and in VV Ultimatum, you can wield Spirit Weapons, customize a unique Zanpakuto system, or use powerful Hollow Weapons.
- Skills, stats, abilities - Min-Max your stats, invest skill points into a skill tree that suits your playstyle, and even use Build Points to further fine-tune your builds.
