To collect as many Sunshells as possible in Fisch, you have to either walk around the beach and pick them up or do what the game is designed for: fish. If you're going to focus on exploring the shore, then make sure to keep the following in mind:

  • Sunshells grant you +1 Shells
  • Large Sunshells +10 Shells
  • Super Sunshells +50 Shells

While the Sunshell and the Large Sunshell reappear in less than a minute, the Super Sunshell takes a bit longer, but not by much. So if you find a Super Sunshell on the beach, make sure to come back to pick it up again and again to increase your numbers super fast.

While we're on the topic of scouting the beach, another way to collect shells is to find Coastal Crates that spawn and disappear at random. This means you have to be quick to pick it up if you see it, or you'll lose the chance to get a bunch of shells. While there is no guarantee, if you're lucky, you can get up to +100.

Last but not least, fish for Fischfest Event species that you can sell to get Sunshells. Another thing to keep in mind is that the Tropical Sun Weather boosts luck and increases access to special mutations. Make sure to use it to the max because the Shoreline becomes much more active during this event.

How to Play the Sandcastle Minigame in Fisch

To start the Sandcastle minigame, you have to go to the area with sandcastles on the left side of the beach and talk to the Sand Castle Referee NPC. To play, you have to pay an entrance fee of 15 Sunshells. If there is no one on the server willing to join, you can either look for another one to join or play against an NPC. As for the challenge, you get a sandcastle design you need to remember, and then you have 2 minutes to recreate it as precisely as possible. Winners can get various rewards: furniture, a bobber, or a special title.

How to Play the Jetski Race Minigame in Fisch

There are two things to keep in mind if you want to play this minigame. The first is that you need to own a Jetski, and the second is that there must be a player willing to race you, as there is no option to play against an NPC. One of the possible rewards for the Jetski Race is a shiny new rod, so this is something you should definitely invest your time in.

How to Play the Beach Volleyball Minigame in Fisch

The Beach Volleyball Minigame in Fisch is all about teamwork. The point is to keep the ball in the air for as long as possible. This sounds easy, but when it speeds up, you will be running around like crazy trying to keep it from falling. Just like the previous, this minigame also requires another player, as there is no option of doing it with an NPC. Some of the rewards for the best include a bobber, furniture, a rod, and an event title.

The only way to leave the Fischfest island in the game is by using a Magic Mirror. In case you have already bought it from the Traveling Merchant, all you have to do is use it to teleport back to Moosewood. However, don't stress if you don't have it yet, because there is another way. Walk in the direction of the wooden docks where the Shipwright NPC is, and turn right once you reach the little beach campfire and surfboards. In front of the shack, you can see a Magic Mirror you can use for free to teleport yourself back.
