In Jujutsu Zero, the Ten Shadows is a Cursed Technique that allows you to summon up to 5 different Shikigamis that automatically fight for you. The best of them is definitely Maharanga, since he can basically solo any enemy inside your game, even without the player's input! Unlocking this technique, however, is quite a difficult and arduous task that will force you to fight many boss battles on the Shadow Island.
The Ten Shadows cursed technique in Jujutsu Zero provides a unique fighting style since none of its abilities directly damage the enemy but rather summon and control different Shikigamis that aid you in your battles. Since this technique can be difficult to understand and even more so to unlock, we have created this detailed guide that focuses on how to get it and showcases all of the skills it offers. Make sure to keep reading it to find out more!
How to Unlock the Ten Shadows Cursed Technique in Jujutsu Zero

the Ten Shadows Cursed Technique in Jujutsu Zero can be obtained by performing gacha style rolls inside the Ten Shadows Special Banner, which can be found under the Techniques tab. The Techniques tab itself can be accessed easily by pressing the "techniques" button in the top left of the main game screen. Since the Ten Shadows is a special grade cursed technique, you should be able to acquire it relatively easily since there is a pity system that guarantees its drop after 15 unsuccessful tries.
Keep in mind that the aforementioned banner uses the cursed crystals as the main currency, which are somewhat difficult and tricky to come by. While we have already created a guide detailing exactly how to obtain them, in short you should know that you can get them from the AFK rewards and by playing the investigations game mode that only becomes available once you reach level 750. Once you have acquired the needed crystals, simply keep rolling and Ten Shadows will eventually be yours.
How to Upgrade the Ten Shadows Mastery in Jujutsu Zero

If you want to gain access to the full range of abilities that the Ten Shadows offers, you will have to upgrade its mastery. The first step in doing this is to unlock the Shadow Island, which you do by getting the Ten Shadows secret ticket. The ticket can be obtained either as a random rare drop from the mini bosses located on the Summer Event Island, or by purchasing it from the Summer Event Shop for 5000 Summer shells. Once you have done that, teleport to the Shadow Island by talking to the Shadow Island NPC who is located at Jujutsu High spawn. Finally, talk to the Megumi NPC who is located there, complete his quests and you will gain Shadow Essences, which are the materials needed to summon raid bosses at the Shikigami Altar. Defeating these bosses will net you the materials necessary for upgrading Ten Shadows mastery.
By far the easier method of getting to the Shadow Island is to purchase the Ten Shadows ticket from the Summer Event Boss, since the 5000 Summer Shells needed to get there can easily be collected by interacting with the beach balls that periodically spawn on the Summer Island. This means that, to get to the Shadow Island, you can avoid combat altogether if that is your preferred method of doing things. Once you finally reach it, the Megumi NPC will have two quests for you. The first one is to destroy the three black pillars scattered across the island, and it is extremely easy to complete since the pillars are stationary and do not fight back. However, it can be somewhat boring to finish since the pillars only take base damage, so actually destroying them will likely make you sick of the repetitive M1 button mashing. The second quest just involves picking up some Shadow Essences that are scattered across the map, and should be a much shorter ordeal.
Once you have summoned and defeated the Shikigami raid bosses, you will get their corresponding mastery upgrade materials. You must keep in mind that every Ten Shadows summon has an individual mastery upgrade path and that the upgrade materials for them are not interchangeable. This means that, for example, Bunny drops will only work for upgrading the Bunny summon, while the Nue the bird's drops only work for upgrading Nue and nobody else. Only once you have upgraded all of the masteries in their entirety will you be able to experience the true power of the Ten Shadows cursed technique.
Ten Shadows Skill Showcase
The Ten Shadows cursed technique has access to summons. Namely, you can summon 5 different Shikigami to do the fighting for you, though not all of them at the same time. They are the Bunny, Shiro and Kuro (two individual wolf summons that can also fight together), Nue the bird and Maharaga, a minotaur-like demigod of destruction. While all of them come with a unique move set and fill different roles, the latter summons are straight up better than earlier ones.
You can find the full list of what each Ten Shadows move does in Jujutsu Zero:
- R skill: summons a Bunny that automatically fights alongside you. With the right build, its basic attacks can deal up to 20.5 million damage. Re-casting the R skill while Bunny is on the field will make it perform a Rabbit Stampede, which will summon 8 other rabbits that will simultaneously converge upon the target, dealing up to 50 million damage. All of these abilities are single target, so keep that in mind when planning your fights.
- F skill: Summons a Wolf called Shiro that automatically attacks enemies. Its basic attack deals up to 34 million damage. Casting this ability again makes it perform a special Divine Fang attack that deals up to 47 million damage.
- C skill: summons a Wolf named Kuro. Everything is the same here as with the previous summon, only you can now summon them together and use their re-casted abilities in tandem. Both of the wolves also only target individual enemies.
- X skill: Summons a bird named Nue, and this one is a real step up since it automatically deals up to 60 million damage with its normal attacks, but with a wide AoE. Re-casting X while Nue is present makes it perform a massive volt surge attack that also deals 80 million damage, but with an absolutely insane AoE.
- Y skill: Summons Maharanga, a minotaur-like creature that deals up to 700 million AoE damage with its automatic jump attack. Even its basic, single target attacks deal a whopping 200 million damage each. Finally, re-casting the Y ability makes it deliver divine judgement, dealing an unfathomable 1.1 billion AoE damage! This one is a true beast in a league of its own, able to solo all enemies in Jujutsu Zero.
