Steal an Egg will be hosting its first-ever Admin Abuse event on August 22, 2026. The event will kick off at 4:00 PM CET, right before Update #1 goes live. You can expect speed boosts, luck boosts, high-rarity and exclusive egg spawns, and more during the Admin Abuse Event.

If you want to speed up your progression and catch up to the leaders in Steal an Egg, you need to attend every Steal an Egg Admin Abuse event. The Admin Abuse events give you a chance to obtain rare eggs that hatch some of the rarest pets in the game right now. This guide will tell you everything you need to know about the Steal an Egg Admin Abuse events, including the start time, what to expect from the event, and how to prepare for it. When is the Steal an Egg Admin Abuse Event

The first-ever Admin Abuse event for Steal an Egg will be hosted this Saturday, August 22, 2026. There’s no confirmation about the duration of the event, but it could be up to an hour long. At the end of Admin Abuse, the first Steal an Egg Update will also go live. As shared in the official Steal an Egg Discord, the update will add another Biome, a weather event, and more mutations to the game.

What to Expect from the Steal an Egg Admin Abuse Event

Because this is the first-ever Admin Abuse event in the history of Steal an Egg, and the devs haven’t shared any details about what will happen, take all of the information shared below with a pinch of salt.

1. Luck Boost: The devs might run temporary but massive luck boosts during the Admin Abuse event. This means you’ll get a chance to grab some rare pets.
2. Speed Boost: There’s a chance that the devs give speed boosts to all the players to give them a chance to see the new zone and grab a few eggs as well. We might also get a speed gain boost that will be very helpful for massively increasing your speed permanently.
3. Slow Down/Disable Guards: Again, to make things easier for the players, the devs might slow down or completely disable the guards in all or some of the zones.
4. Rare Eggs: This is something that you should be prepared for, especially if you are a complete beginner. The devs might spam spawn high-rarity eggs in low-rarity zones. If that happens, you need to be prepared to grab them before everyone else. 
5. Mutations Boost: If you’ve been trying to get mutated pets in Steal an Egg but haven’t had much luck, the Admin Abuse event might just be the perfect time for you to try again.

Keep in mind that all of these are pure speculation at this point. Once we attend the Admin Abuse event and see what the devs actually do, we’ll update this section accordingly for future reference.

How to Prepare for the Steal an Egg Admin Abuse Event

If you plan on attending the Steal an Egg Admin Abuse event, you need to:

• Stockpile Eggs: Grab as many eggs as you can, preferably from high-rarity zones, and hatch them during the Admin Abuse event to increase your chances of getting the rarest pets in the game.
• Max Everything Out: Equip the best Trails and increase your speed as much as you can before the Admin Abuse event so you can grab any rare pet or egg spawns before others.
