The Hungry Monster is a limited-time event that will last from August 29 to September 5, 2026. During this event, you have to feed Infested Eggs to the Hungry Monster sitting next to the Sell Shop. What is the Hungry Monster Event in Steal an Egg

The Hungry Monster Event is a limited event where players can feed Infested Eggs to a Hungry Monster sitting in the pen area. When you feed him to 100%, he’ll give you a Monster Chest that you can open to get the following rewards:

  • 1.25x Egg Growth for 5 minutes - 43.5% Chance
  • 1.25x Speed for 5 minutes - 30% Chance
  • 2x Treadmill Speed for 5 minutes - 20% Chance
  • Flyswatter - 5% Chance
  • Monstrous Egg - 1.5% Chance

How to Get Infested Eggs in Steal an Egg

Infested Eggs have a chance to spawn in the following Steal an Egg Biomes: Snow, Volcano, Abyss Ocean, Prehistoric, Cosmic, Cherry Blossom, and Titan Temple. Every time the eggs reset, there’s an unknown chance that a random number of eggs will become Infested.

Eggs that have purple parasites sitting on top of them are the Infested Eggs that you need to pick up, steal successfully, and then feed to the Hungry Monster.

One egg satisfies 20% of the Hungry Monster's hunger (regardless of which biome the egg is from). That means you have to feed five eggs to the Hungry Monster to get one Monster Chest. 

How to Feed the Hungry Monster in Steal an Egg

Once you’ve obtained an Infested Egg, you can feed it to the Hungry Monster by following the steps below:

  1. Equip the Infested Egg.
  2. Walk into the circle below the Hungry Monster.
  3. Press and hold E to feed the Hungry Monster (on PC). Hold the Feed Parasite button to feed the Hungry Monster (on Mobile).

When you feed an Infested Egg to the Hungry Monster, you will lose that egg. So, be careful when feeding the Hungry Monster. You don’t want to end up losing a rare egg.

What Are All The Pets From the Monstrous Egg in Steal an Egg?

The Monstrous Egg, also called the Monster Egg, can hatch six different Monster Pets: Scorpio (Legendary, 39% Chance), Froggo (Mythic, 24% Chance), Crawler (Cosmic, 18% Chance), Crocodon (Secret, 11% Chance), Krakenoid (Eternal, 6.5% Chance), and Dreadscale (Dreadscale, 0.5% Chance). Every time you hatch a Monster Egg, there’s a 1% chance that the pet can have the Mecha Mutation.

What does the Flyswatter do in Steal an Egg?

The Flyswatter works just like a bat. You can get it from the Monster Chest given by the Hungry Monster. Once obtained, equip it from the inventory and use it just as you would use your bat.
