After that simple list, we can see that DayZ has a pretty big map compared to other popular games; it is about 10 times bigger than Watch Dogs: Legion map, but a little bit smaller than Assassin's Creed Odyssey map, including seas and oceans that fill up almost half of the space there.

It takes around 35 minutes in real life to run from one corner of the DayZ map to another. It also contains eight cities and almost 40 villages. There are plenty of places to hide and plan out your plan and strategy to win. Some of the most important places on the DayZ map are:

  • Chernogorsk
  • Elektrozavodsk
  • Berezino
  • Zelenogorsk
  • Stary Sobor
  • Balota
  • NW Airport
  • Novaya Petrovka
  • Magilevka
