How to play the Infected Game Mode in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War

A New Twist to Infected for The Haunting event.

Starting on Oct. 19, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone will begin The Haunting event, celebrating spooky season with Halloween-themed bundles, weaponry, and game modes. Black Ops Cold War will feature three multiplayer game modes geared toward the holiday: Scream Deathmatch, Prop Hunt Halloween, and Infected.

Players looking to participate in the Infected game mode will be able to find it in the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer menu when The Haunting event launches on October 19th. Infected will find a team of 18 Operators against a team of Zombies, who will try to turn the operators undead. In an update to the mode, Operators that kill a zombie will be awarded statistical bonuses to reload speed, ADS speed, movement speed, and slide speed.

Among the Halloween-themed game modes, The Haunting event will include multiple themed operator packs. Each pack will consist of the option to purchase bundles centered on Ghostface from Scream and Frank the Rabbit from Donnie Darko (Limited-Time SCREAM Operator Bundle and Tracer Pack: Donnie Darko Limited-Time Bundle). The packs will be available on Oct. 19 and Oct. 24, respectively.
