John Krasinski's A Quiet Place was a horror hit when it was first released in 2018. It thrilled and terrified audiences, earning a sequel that was released in 2021 as well as getting a spin-off film approved. Krasinski has also stated that he has ideas for a third film but it appears that there is more planned for the A Quiet Place series.
The A Quiet Place game was mysteriously and quietly announced with little to no information. It can be assumed that Krasinski is involved with the game but there is no concrete evidence. The official website simply states it is a terrifying new video game in which players can experience an untold story in the A Quiet Place universe.
Saber Interactive, Ep1tome Studios, Illogika, and Paramount Pictures will be working together to develop and produce the game. They plan to deliver "the tension of the films with a level of immersion they've never felt before." The website also has links for social media accounts for the upcoming game but each of them is empty. The last piece of information reveals the game is planned for release in 2022.
More information is planned to be revealed later this year so fans should follow their social media accounts to stay up to date with the game. A video game set within the universe of A Quiet Place could be a unique take on the survival horror genre and can certainly capture the same terror the films have.
