Darkest Dungeon 2 hits the road, leaving behind the Estate and town that I, as a fan of the original Darkest Dungeon, called home. This time, I had to build a party of four and travel via stagecoach to the sinister mountain in the distance. One of the first things I noticed on my journey was various piles of debris on the road. Should I hit the rubble in the road in Darkest Dungeon 2?
What to do with the rubble in the road in Darkest Dungeon 2
I wondered if I should hit these piles of debris or avoid them. After all, the game has a brutal and challenging reputation, so I thought hitting these rubble piles would somehow have negative consequences or damage the stagecoach. The answer is that you should hit the rubble in Darkest Dungeon 2.
What do I get for hitting the rubble in the road in Darkest Dungeon 2?
Hitting the piles of rubble allows you to receive items and resources to help you on your journey. Since items are always good to have, you should hit as many rubble piles as possible to fill their inventory. Don't worry; you can't damage the stagecoach.

Unfortunately, the wagon can be tricky to control, especially at first. Turning or moving side to side is slow, and trying to turn on a dime isn't possible. You should start your turns early to hit rubble piles in the road and straighten them out as soon as possible.
Staying in the center of the road is a good strategy, too, as it allows you to hit rubble on either side easier. Darkest Dungeon 2 is not a driving simulation, so moving is not meant to be more precise. You can even let the stagecoach drive on "auto-pilot" if you're not interested in hunting those bonuses.
