Best STG44 Loadout in Call of Duty: Vanguard

Easy to control.

The STG44 is one of the most used Assault Rifles (AR) in Call of Duty: Vanguard. The weapon boasts good mobility, accuracy, and control. However, it lacks in terms of raw firepower. Nonetheless, the STG44 is the go-to gun for many players in Multiplayer.

Here's a guide on how to build the best STG44 loadout in Vanguard. Although the attachments mentioned below are our best recommendations, feel free to change them to your preference. In this article, we've listed two different STG44 classes for Vanguard.

Best STG44 Loadout in Vanguard

The best STG44 attachments for a mid to long-range loadout are as follows:

  • Muzzle - Scythe Compensator
  • Barrel - VDD 760mm 05B
  • Optic - G16 2.5x
  • Stock - Krausnick S11S Folding
  • Underbarrel - Carver Foregrip
  • Magazine - 8mm Kurz 45 Round Drums
  • Ammo Type - FMJ Rounds
  • Rear Grip - Fabric Grip
  • Proficiency - Focus / Vital (use Vital until it gets nerfed)
  • Kit - Fully Loaded

The best STG44 build is focused on improving the accuracy, recoil control, and range of the weapon. The optic used here is clean and provides 2.5x magnification, but you can swap it for a close-range optic if necessary. Vital Proficiency is unbalanced and most probably will get fixed.

Until then, use Focus for flinch resistance. The rear grip and stock counter the mobility reduction of the STG44 caused by the barrel and magazine. You may use Subsonic Rounds for position concealment, but it hurts bullet velocity a lot. Instead, using the FMJ round improves bullet penetration. This weapon is an AR, so don't expect the mobility of Submachine Guns, unless you're using the SMG build shown below.

Use the following attachments on the STG44 AR for a high mobility, fast killing weapon:

  • Muzzle - Recoil Booster
  • Barrel - VDD 320mm 02B
  • Optic - Slate Reflector
  • Stock - Removed Stock
  • Underbarrel - M3 Ready Grip
  • Magazine - .30 Russian Short 30 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type - Subsonic Rounds
  • Rear Grip - Leather Grip
  • Proficiency - Sleight of Hand / Vital
  • Kit - Reach

Keep in mind that SMGs such as the MP-40 and Type 99 can outgun the STG44 in close-range fights. Regardless, the build mentioned above is powerful and has great movement speed.

The attachments used here are meant to boost the ADS speed, sprint-to-fire time, fire rate, and aiming movement speed significantly. But this comes at the cost of reduced control and range. If the recoil is uncontrollable for you, swap for a better underbarrel such as Carver Foregrip.
