How to Unlock the Shortcut in The Tower in Sifu?

Going down?

Sifu is certainly one of the more challenging combat experiences you'll have in a game that's not titled Dark Souls, thanks to an interesting death and aging system every time you die. Thankfully (mercifully) Sifu employs level shortcuts that you can unlock after reaching a certain point in each stage.

To unlock the only shortcut in the tower, you'll need the Elevator Keycard. Progress through the level until you find yourself in The Rift, located in the depths of the building. You'll have to descend a few floors and fight a fair few enemies on the way, but eventually, you'll come to a room with a lone bo staff-wielding mini-boss.

Each side of the room is littered with daggers and staffs. When the fight begins, grab the weapons and start throwing them at her. Each thrown weapon that hits the enemy will stun her, allowing you to move in for a combo. Repeat this until she's down, which will net you the Elevator Keycard.

When you begin the level again, you can use the Keycard just behind the front desk at the elevator doors on the right side. Take the elevator and you'll find yourself in The Rift, just after the mini-boss room.
