How to unlock the Whitley and KG M40 in Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone

Season 2 of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone added four new weapons to the game. Two of these guns—the KG M40 Assault Rifle and the Whitley Light Machine Gun—are available from the launch of the update. You can unlock these weapons by completing their unlock challenge.

How to unlock the KG M40 AR in Vanguard and Warzone

Unlock criteria: Earn three double-kill medals with an AR in 15 different completed matches.

This challenge can be completed in Vanguard Multiplayer and Warzone Plunder. We recommend the Plunder method as you can leave the match after getting three double-kills. Before unlocking it, you should know that KG M40 boasts a fast fire rate and high damage per shot, but it lacks mobility.

How to unlock the Whitley LMG in Vanguard and Warzone

Unlock criteria: Destroy three killstreaks with an LMG in 15 different completed matches.

Unlike the previous weapon, you can complete the mission for Whitley only in Vanguard Multiplayer because you cannot destroy killstreaks in Warzone. This weapon has the highest damage-output of all machine guns. You can customize it to create a dominant mid-to-long-range weapon.

Earlier, these guns were unlockable via the Season 2 Battle Pass. You can also unlock them by purchasing their blueprint associated bundle from the CoD Store. However, you will not be able to customize the attachments unless you complete the unlock challenge for each.
