GRID Legends brings back a fan-favorite legacy feature, Flashbacks. Primarily meant for beginners and casual players, this setting gives players limited chances to rewind time, if needed. Using this mechanic, you can correct any mistakes made during the race and gain an advantage over your opponents.
To reverse your actions via Flashback, simply press 1 on keyboard, Triangle on PlayStation controller, or Y on Xbox controller, depending on the control and platform you are playing on. Repress the same input whenever you want the rewind to stop and resume the race.
In the above image representing a Flashback in action in GRID Legends, you can see the reverse symbol with a number next to it. This number denotes how many Flashbacks are remaining for you to utilize. When the counter hits zero, you will not be able to rewind the race any longer.
How to Enable or Disable Flashbacks in GRID Legends
On higher difficulty levels, Flashbacks are turned off by default. However, you may change this feature individually from the Difficulty column within the Gameplay settings as shown in the image above. Furthermore, you can also change this setting in the Advanced Settings menu of Race Creator.
