How to get the gold chest in Radiant Park in Coromon

When you finally start your adventure in Coromon and step into the first area Radiant Park, you will quickly come across a golden chest that you cannot access. It is trapped by a log. But how do you get this gold chest?

How to move the log to get the gold chest in Radiant Park in Coromon

To move the log and access the gold chest, you must first progress further into the story to acquire the Push Module for your Gauntlet. This allows you to push logs out the way, and it is the only tool you can use to get the chest.

How to get the Push module for the Gauntlet

To get the Push Module, head to the village called Hayville, which is a few screens to the right. Then, you must rescue the blacksmith at the farm, Perrin, from a Beezel. Catch or defeat it; it's up to you.

Afterward, give Perrin the Essence Collector, and he'll start installing it into your Gauntlet. He'll also give you a spare Gauntlet, just in case you get into a Coromon battle. Perrin then tells you to go to the library to the west of town and speak to his brother, Merrin.

Enter the library, go through the door on the right, and head up the stairs in the top-left corner. Speak to Merrin, and he'll give you some information books to help you understand the mechanics of Coromon better.

Before you leave, there are also two optional quests to do in the library. The first is to answer all questions from Jebediah's quiz, and the second is to find a book called Coromon Basics for Monica.

Once done, head back to Perrin, and he'll have installed the Essence Module and the Push Module, which allows you to push away logs. With this installed, go back to the gold chest in Radiant Park, use it on the log to open the chest. You'll get:

• Sticky Scent x1
• Protein Scent x1
• Fear Scent x1
• Toxic Scent x1
• Charged Scent x1
