Will Peridot have NFTs?

The video game industry is constantly changing and implementing new ideas. One of these is NFTs, non-fungible tokens, a form of digital currency typically seen as images that can be sold and traded. As new games are announced, such as Niantic's Peridot, many may wonder if they will have NFTs.

The answer to whether Peridot will have NFTs is up in the air. In an interview with Eurogamer, producer Ziah Fogel was asked about NFTs. She responded with, "It's a really interesting idea and it's something we're obviously looking at," and "but right now we're focused on testing and refining the core gameplay experience so that's fun and, accidental."

The question of Peridot's possible NFTs stems from the combination of procedural generation and handcrafted elements, making each Peridot completely unique. Reddit has also joined this discussion in a post on TheSilphRoad subreddit, with many users wondering about possible NFTs.
