Where to catch Iron Valiant in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Explored the entirety of Area Zero and still can't find it? We're here to help!

Iron Valiant is a Fighting/Fairy-type Pokémon exclusive to Pokémon Violet. Its design resembles both Gardevoir and Gallade, which evolve from Ralts. Among the Paradox Pokémon in Pokémon Violet, Iron Valiant is arguably the most difficult to find. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Here’s where to find Iron Valiant in Pokémon Violet.

Iron Valiant location in Pokémon Violet

Iron Valiant only spawns in one location within Area Zero, a small cave hidden near Research Station No. 3. Here’s how to get there.

The first thing you must do is warp to Research Station No. 3. Look towards the left of the large cave entrance leading to Research Station No. 4. You should see a large tree in the distance. Move towards that tree.

The cave is hidden behind a pile of rocks beside the large tree (see the pile on the left of the pic below). Ride past the rocks to reach the cave.

Once you're there, move to the middle of the room (the one with the large waterfall), and Iron Valiants should be roaming around the area. If one doesn’t spawn by the time you get there, walk around and defeat other Pokémon with the Let’s Go! Function to make room for new Pokémon to spawn.

As a Gardevoir/Gallade hybrid, Iron Valiant is high in all stats the both of them are proficient in: Attack, Sp. Atk, and Speed. It’s a bit of a glass cannon, so be sure to Hyper Train its Speed to make it usable in PvP. Invest your first set of EV points into its Speed as well.
