Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, the Netmarble-published mobile spin on the beloved Ni no Kuni series, is currently celebrating its 300th birthday. That’s 300 days, of course.

To mark the occasion, Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds has received a couple of in-game events, new servers in Asia and the US, and a massive content update that brings with it a whole new system aimed at helping new players level up fast (but more on that shortly).

For the uninitiated, Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is a hugely popular RPG series developed by Level-5 (Professor Layton, Inazuma Eleven) and Studio Ghibli (My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away).

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is the first game in the series to be developed explicitly for mobile. You arrive in the Ni no Kuni universe via a fictional virtual reality app called Soul Divers before setting out to explore a vast, open-world environment. Like all Ni no Kuni games, Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is like a playable Studio Ghibli film, with pixel-perfect cartoon presentation, richly drawn characters, and a world steeped in mystical lore.

If you haven’t already played Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, this is your lucky day. The content update we’re writing about today is a whole new Newbie Support System to the game, designed to help newcomers get up to speed.

For one thing, the developers have added Swift Solutions errands, Conquest missions, and a ton of other ways to obtain rewards with which to turbocharge your progress. Training in the Dual Yard, meanwhile, nets you Training Points to redeem for additional rewards, and you can complete Tetro Puzzles to pocket still more.

The newbie-friendly fun doesn’t stop there. Special Newbie Coins let you obtain 4* equipment, level-up Skills, and Familiars at bargain rates from the Newbie Shop, and there are several new Special Guidebooks, complete with reward-heavy missions.

For experienced players, meanwhile, the 300-Day Celebration Check-In Event is an opportunity to bank a plethora of rewards just for logging in, and the 300-Day Celebration Roulette Event is an opportunity to line your pockets further by spinning a big wheel.

  • 300th Day Celebration Check-In event will let players obtain 300th Day Rare 4★ Equipment Selection Chest, 300th Day Celebration Lofty Hat, 300 Summon Coupons, and much more!
  • Check out the 300-Day Celebration Roulette Event to get 6★ Toy Selection Chests, Miraculous Warding Doll Chests, and Rare 4★ Higgledy Hiring Certificates!

To join the fun, head to the Google Play Store, the App Store, or the Netmarble website to start playing Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds for free right now.
