Remnant 2 Handler Class Explained

The Handler is a starting archetype in Remnant 2 and comes with a canine companion. This class focuses on teamwork, utilizing the dog in its skills, traits, and perks. Working with your dog in combat will help you survive and take down your enemies, making it the perfect class for a solo run. Here are all perks, skills, and traits for the Remnant 2 Handler archetype.

All Handler Perks - Remnant 2

  • Bonded (Prime Perk) (Level 1)
    • When Handler is downed, Companion will attempt to revive them at 50% Max Health. Can be used to revive allies with Command. Downed ally must have a Relic charge. 
  • Pack Hunter (Damage Perk) (Level 1)
    • Gain 15% Ranged and Skill Damage while Companion is active and within 25m of the player.
  • Spirit of the Wolf (Team Perk) (Level 2)
    • Increases Movement Speed by 10%. All allies within 10m of the Handler gain the Handler's Movement Speed (if faster).
  • Teamwork (Utility Perk) (Level 3)
    • Handler and Companion gain 5% increased Revive Speed.
  • Best Friend (Relic Perk) (Level 4)
    • Using a Relic fully restores the Companion's health.

All Handler Skills - Remnant 2

  • Guard Dog (Starting
    • Companion will follow the Handler and generate 15% increased Threat while attacking. All damage to them is reduced by 20%. 
    • Press: Companion engages enemies near the targeted location.
    • Press Twice: Companion returns to the Handler and remains by their side. 
    • Hold: Howl reduces damage by 15% to all allies within 20m and the Companion generates additional Threat. Lasts 20s.
  • Support Dog (Level 5)
    • Companion will follow the Handler and continuously heal allies within 3.5m for 0.25% of Max Health per second. 
    • Press: Companion engages enemies near the targeted location. 
    • Press Twice: Companion returns to the Handler and remains by their side.
    • Hold: Howl grants 2% of Max Health per second and 25% increased Movement Speed to all allies within 20m. Lasts 25s
  • Attack Dog (Level 10)
    • Companion will follow the Handler and deal 20% additional damage. 
    • Press: Companion engages enemies near the targeted location. 
    • Press Twice: Companion returns to the Handler and remains by their side. 
    • Hold: Howl increases damage by 20% for all allies within 20m. Lasts 20s.

All Handler Traits - Remnant 2

  • Kinship
    • Reduces Friendly Fire damage dealt and received.
