How to get the BEN badge in Apeirophobia – Roblox

Beyond the horror and mystery of Apeirophobia, there are plenty of secrets and easter eggs to discover as you play. You can earn special achievement badges for completing some out-of-the-ordinary tasks or finding certain surprises. The BEN badge doesn't require getting jump-scared like the DOPPELGANGER badge, but you will have to put yourself at risk to track this iconic armchair. Here's how!

How to earn the BEN badge in Apeirophobia

The BEN badge is a reference to the app Talking Ben, in which a dog named Ben sits on an armchair and repeats lines back to you or says funny, random lines. To get the badge, players need to locate Ben's armchair in the Backrooms.

The armchair can be found in Level 0 and Level 16 since they both take place in the Backroom maps. I would suggest completing it in Level 0 because it's easier to find; Level 16 is much darker and harder to navigate through. The armchair is in the same spot in Level 0 each time, the southeast corner, but your spawn point can differ. There is a chance you will spawn close to it, but if not, you'll need to do a little exploring.

There's no easy way to track down the chairs in the Backrooms since this area is a maze. However, there are a few ways you can find it more easily. Look for arrows on the wall pointing you toward the exit, and follow them the opposite way. Since the chair is in the southeast corner, it will be on the opposite end of the map from the exit.

The room with the chair also happens to be past some more bizarre-colored lights, so keep an eye out for blue, green, and red lights overhead and follow them toward the large open Ben room.

Eventually, you'll come to the room with Ben's chair, and you can run and hop onto it to earn your badge, but be careful of monsters lurking around. Your screen will get all fuzzy and dark if a monster is close, so make sure you're ready to make a quick escape after earning your badge. You can also pick up a Simulation Core achievement piece right behind the chair.
