How to heal in The Finals

Every gameshow needs a medic.

The Finals is a fast-paced competitive FPS where the goal is to open vaults and cash out money while defending it against other players. In this guide, we'll walk you through how to heal in The Finals to ensure your team's survivability while skirmishing with other players.

How to regain health in The Finals

With my time in The Finals, there are only two ways to heal: avoiding combat and damage or the Medium Build's Healing Gun specialization. The Healing Gun is the most efficient way to heal. So far, only the Medium Build can get the Healing Gun, but it is a great tool to keep your teammates alive.

Your other option is to avoid combat until your health starts to regenerate. Regeneration is a slower process but lets any player who can stay alive restore their health. If you are injured and do not have any medium builds in the team, your best bet is to lay low and wait for your health regen to kick in.

How to revive players in The Finals

You have two options for reviving players. The most common is simply to find your teammates' statues and hold the interact button to revive them. It will take some time, but this method is available to all players. You can also pick up your teammates' statues and move to a safer location.

The other option is to pick the Medium Build and equip the Defibrillator. The Defibrillator has a short charge time, but once done, it allows you to revive teammates instantly. It is exclusive to Medium build characters, essentially making it the best medic class.

I highly recommend transitioning to Medium Build if other randoms in your teams opt for Light or Heavy characters. If you're not carrying a Defibrillator while running a Medium Build, you're doing it wrong, as it's one of the most overpowered equipment you can use in The Finals.
