How to drive the train in Warzone

Now drive the train in Warzone!

Warzone's integration with Modern Warfare 3 with the Season 1 update introduced the Urzikstan map, new weapons, and several other core gameplay changes. One of the returning attractions is the train, but only now players can drive it.

The driveable train doesn't have a fixed spawn and may appear anywhere on the train tracks when the Battle Royale match begins. To find it, simply open your tac map and look for the purple train icon I've marked in the image above. If the map legend is moving it means the locomotive is moving as well.

How to operate the driveable train in Warzone

The train in Warzone has always been a good spot to land and loot up but now it can be operated manually by players. To drive the train, I suggest you go to the driver's cab in the front and operate it from there, however, it can also be stopped from the rear end.

In the train engine's cab, you'll find two levers that allow you to operate the locomotive. Aim towards and interact with the yellow lever to change the direction of the train, i.e., make it move forward or backward. Just behind it, use the green lever to stop or start the locomotive. Finally, the last coach of the train also allows you to stop it using the handbrake (third image).

How to stop the train in Warzone

As mentioned previously, you can stop the driveable train in Warzone using either the green lever in the front end or the handbrake in the rear end of the locomotive.

These features are subtle but may prove very useful in securing you a win if the circle or safe zone positioning is appropriate. You can operate the train and use it as cover and to navigate the map easily, but it may not be very practical. Nonetheless, you can always visit the train to loot and use the buy station, UAV tower, and ammo cache that are always available onboard.
