After the MW3 integration, players appear on the minimap when shooting an unsuppressed weapon in Call of Duty: Warzone. This makes Suppressors the ultimate muzzle attachment so you remain undetectable on the radar.
Thankfully, Modern Warfare 3 introduced a new set of Suppressor attachments to Warzone that don't penalize your weapon stats as much—specifically aim-down-sight (ADS) speed.
Best Suppressors to use in MW3 Warzone
Below are some of the best Suppressors that you can equip on your weapons in Warzone 3. Make sure to check the pros and cons via the detailed stats so you select the appropriate attachment for your build, be it for improved recoil control or range.
Suppressor Muzzle | Pros | Cons |
---|---|---|
Sonic Suppressor | Range | Recoil Control and STF Speed |
VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor | Range, Recoil Control | ADS Speed and STF Speed |
Monolithic Suppressor | Recoil Control | ADS Speed |
Shadowstrike Suppressor | - | - |
*STF = Sprint-to-fire
As you can see in the table, the Shadowstrike Suppressor has no associated pros or cons. I rarely use this attachment but it's the best choice for those who want a suppressor without any drawbacks whatsoever.

Best Suppressors for all weapons in Warzone 3
While the aforementioned attachments are the obvious Suppressor muzzle choices in Warzone, I've also listed which ones work best for different weapon categories so you don't have to spend time going through the detailed stats.
- Assault Rifles, Battle Rifles, and LMGs: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
- SMGs: Sonic Suppressor or Monolithic Suppressor
- Sniper Rifles and Marksman Rifles: Sonic Suppressor
- Handguns: Sonic Suppressor
- Shotguns: All Suppressors hurt the damage range on Shotguns, so I advise not using one
The VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor works best for long-range, full-auto weapons like ARs, BRs, and LMGs as they simultaneously improve damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil control. SMGs, Pistols, and Snipers are best equipped with a Sonic Suppressor as it helps with damage range and bullet velocity. If you instead want some recoil control on bad accuracy SMGs like the WSP Swarm, you can use the Monolithic Suppressor instead. As for Shotguns, I suggest the Bryson Choke muzzle attachment.
