In Palworld, traversing around the map can be tedious, which is why you need to learn how to ride on different Pals to move about faster. Here's how to unlock and master the mount feature to ride Pals in Palworld.
How to get the Pal Gear Workbench in Palworld
Each of the Pals in the game comes with a unique set of Partner Skills that helps you survive various scenarios. These skills allow Pals to perform different actions, including a wide range of functions aiding combat and traversal. Some of the Pals in Palworld can be mounted eventually as you progress through the game and level up with them.
Certain Pals can be mounted and ridden while others may assist your character with flight and gliding. So, to ride any mountable Pals you need to craft their respective Saddles at a Pal Gear Workbench. The schematics for these Saddles can be unlocked using Technology Points. Here are the resources required to build a Pal Gear Workbench:
- Cloth - 2
- Paldium Fragment - 10
- Wood - 30
After collecting the resources, open the Build menu, and navigate to the Production section to select the Pal Gear Workbench. With the workbench ready, start unlocking the respective schematics using Technology Points. For instance, Rushroar Saddle is the first schematic you'll unlock at Technology Level 6. Craft it at the Pal Gear Workbench to unlock the ride feature for your Rushroar Pal.
New schematics for different Pals and other useful equipment for Partner Skills unlock as your Technology Level increases in the game. The best method to quickly increase the Technology Level is to unlock different fast travel points across the map by interacting with the Great Eagle Statues. Once you have enough Technology Points, use them to unlock new build recipes, schematics, armor, weaponry, and other essential items.
Once your settlement has a few production builds, start employing different Pals to work on them. Select appropriate jobs for your Pals depending on their Work Suitability. This way, you can harvest resources like Wood, Stone, Berries, Paldium, Cloth, and more at your settlement.
