Tools and weapons get worn out with their use, but if you've grown fond of a particular one, you may want to keep it regardless of how old or worn they are. So here is a guide on how to repair and upgrade your weapons in Enshrouded.
Where to repair weapons in Enshrouded
Unlike other survival games, repairing your weapons doesn't cost materials in Enshrouded. To do so, you only have to go to your Workbench, available to craft at your Manual Crafting menu. Every time you interact with your Workbench, all your weapons will become repaired.
If you are out in the world and can't access your home base, you can always repair your weapons at abandoned anvils (as shown in the image above). The process is the same; it only takes one interaction with the anvil and no cost of materials to have your weapons fully repaired.
How to Enhance your Equipment in Enshrouded
Depending on the rarity of your weapon, it can be upgraded up to a certain level. To do this, you will have to find and free the Blacksmith during the quest Find the Sleeping Survivor.
Once you got him out of his slumber, you can go back to your base and craft a summoning staff. With this item you'll be able to place the Blacksmith somewhere in your camp. Interact with him to get new quests, unlock new craftable items, and enhance your weapons.
Upgrading a weapon costs Runes, so make sure you have enough for all your weapons. You can get these from defeating shroud enemies, or from salvaging other items.
How to get more Runes in Enshrouded
Loot in Enshrouded has different tiers of rarity. The highest the rarity, and the more upgrades you've invested in an items, the more Runes you'll get from salvaging that weapon.
Whenever you find a silver or gold chest in Enshrouded, you are guaranteed an item of a certain rarity will spawn inside, but not which type of weapon it is. Therefore, it is recommended to visit towers, dungeons and other places every day you log in; because chests and traps and enemies get refreshed.
A chest that gave you a rare weapon the first time is bound to give you a rare weapon every day you loot it. That is an easy way of getting Runes faster and always have your favorite weapons upgraded.
