Palworld is full of many wonderful Pals, and I can't have enough of them, but this becomes a problem when you have too many without any way to release them. If you are in a similar situation, this guide will teach you how to release or sell Pals in Palworld.
How to get rid of extra Pals in Palworld
First, we have to preface this guide with this: no, you cannot release Pals in Palword. However, there are much better alternatives that give you materials and gold or make your Pals stronger. These alternatives are not as simple as releasing your Pals and you will need to put some effort, but nothing too big.
Here is what to do when you have too many Pals and want some of them gone.
Incubate your Pals
The first option is to incubate your Pals, which is useful when you have too many of the same Pals. This method requires a Pal Essence Condenser, which you can get from the Ancient Technology tree for two Ancient Technology points. Once you build the incubator, interact with it and follow these steps:
- Select the strongest Pal from the same Pals.
- Now, choose four more of the same Pals.
- Hit incubate to sacrifice the four to make the first one stronger.
Butcher them
This method requires you to kill your Pals and get their materials. To do that, get the Meat Cleaver from the Technology tree, craft it, and equip it. Now, put Pals that you want to get rid of in your Party and call them out. After that, open the Pal Command menu and choose to butcher them. This gives you double the amount of materials you normally get from those Pals and forever release them.
Sell your Pals
Last, we have my favourite method, which is to sell your Pals. You can do that by finding the Black Marketeer. His location is towards the northwest of the game's starting area at the eastern edge of the molten region. When you are here, look for a cave and head inside where you will find the Black Marketeer. Talk to him and you will get the option to sell or buy Pals.
