How to unlock the Jak Tyrant 762 Kit in MW3 Season 2

Attention Longbow enthusiasts...

The Longbow sniper rifle is already a fan favorite in Modern Warfare 3, but with the introduction of Season 2, we now have a conversion kit to play with. If you're a seasoned sniper looking for a new toy to play with, here's how you can unlock the Jak Tyrant 762 conversion kit for the Longbow.

To unlock this conversion kit for the Longbow, you'll need to complete any five Week 1 challenges in MW3 Season 2. As there are various challenges for Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, you have many options to pick five from.

Not all the challenges are easy to do, and some are definitely easier than others, so if you want to unlock this thing so you get to playing around with it quickly, here are the five challenges I recommend you pursue.

  • 30 Operator Kills with a Suppressed Marksmen Rifle - This is a Multiplayer challenge that just requires you to stick a suppressor on any of the MW3 Marksmen Rifles you have available. I recommend the KVD Enforcer as it has always been reliable for me, but use any Marksmen Rifle you fancy. 30 Operator kills means 30 kills against players, so just load up any objective-based game mode and sit back and defend. Players will rush into your line of sight, making them easy targets.
  • 20 Operator One-Shot Kills with Shotguns - This is another multiplayer challenge that is super easy to complete. As the name of the challenge implies, you'll need to equip a MW3 shotgun to kill enemy players with a single shot. Any kills that require more than one shot won't count, so I highly recommend using the Lockwood 680 as it is a pump-action. Pump Action shotguns tend to kill in one press of the trigger if most of the pellets hit the target. Once again, load up any objective-based game mode and sit on the point. You'll get these kills in no time.
  • 250 One-Shot Zombie Kills with Shotguns - This challenge is for MW3 Zombies, and all it requires you to do is kill 250 1-tap kills in the game mode. This is extremely easy and does not require a lot of investment in Zombies to complete. Stay in the low-threat zones and pick off the dozens of weak zombies wandering around. This one is time-consuming, but it is easy to complete, which is the point. The Lockwood 680 is once again my recommendation.

  • 10 Assault Rifle Zombie Kills without being Hit 20 Times - This is another Zombie challenge and it just requires you to mow down a total of 200 zombies without taking damage. Like with the above-mentioned zombie challenge, the easiest way to do this is to just remain in the low-threat zone and mow down weak zombies as they struggle to approach you. The key is to not take damage, so if you take even one point, you'll need to restart your current set of 10 kills for it to count. The MCW is a solid choice for this task, as it has plenty of stopping power and a solid rate of fire.
  • 100 Zombie Kills with a Scoped Sniper - This is the final challenge I recommend, and it is just as easy to complete as the previously mentioned zombie challenges. All you need to do is kill 100 weak zombies while scoped into a MW3 Sniper Rifle. Unlike the previous two, you don't even need to be close to the zombies to complete this. Find a rooftop somewhere to perch up, and pick them off one by one. Restock ammo as needed until completed. Power is the name of the game for this one, so I recommend you use the Katt-AMR to get it done easily.

With these five challenges completed, you'll have your new Longbow conversion kit in the palm of your hand. While these challenges are a bit of a grind to endure, you will unlock this kit without any sort of randomness involved.
