While fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, some may be feeling impatient, understandably. Waiting for months, or even years, for a game to release can put someone on the edge of their seat. The fans shouldn't worry though, as Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be released on February 29th, 2024.

What time of day will Final Fantasy 7 be released?

Rather than having a universal release at a specific time of day, digital copies of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be released at midnight in your local time. What your local time is will be determined by your time/location settings for your PlayStation account. For example, if you are located and registered as being in the Pacific Time zone, FF7 Rebirth will release on February 29, 2024 at 12AM PT for you.

How to play the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth demo

The Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth demo was released on February 6, 2024, with an update released on February 21, 2024. To play the demo, you'll need to own a PS5 and have access to the PlayStation Store. Navigate to the store and choose to download the demo, which will be available to play after installation.
