When can I Purchase Roblox (RBLX) Stock?

All investors should expect to purchase Roblox (RBLX) Stock on or around Mar. 10. This is the official date the Roblox company has chosen to go public on the stock market through direct listing. We'll be sure to update this page if anything changes as the date approaches.

In Dec. 2020, the company had originally planned to go public through a traditional IPO. However, plans quickly changed as Roblox monitored the profitability of Spotify and Slack, two companies that went public through direct listing. Not long after, Roblox raised $520 million while anticipating a direct listing.

Announced during today's Investor Day stream, layered clothing is coming to Roblox Avatars, providing users with even more customization options. Additionally, Roblox plans to improve content ratings to attract adult users to the platform. This would not only increase and diversify the player-base, but also encourage developers to create a wider range of mature gaming experiences.
