Love and Deepspace is an immersive first-person otome game that takes place in a futuristic sci-fi fantasy world. In this world, high-level players will need to use Awakening Hearts. This guide is here to tell you how to use Awakening Hearts in leveling and awakening your Memories!
There are very few scarce resources in Love and Deepspace, but Awakening Hearts are one of them. Awakening Hearts are a memory-awakening material that can be obtained later in the game. Once one of a player's Memories has reached its maximum level and ascension, Awakening Hearts are used to start the awakening process.
Best ways to get and use Awakening Hearts in Love and Deepspace
Memories in Love and Deepspace are sorted into different rarities (SR and SSR, respectively). After ascending and reaching the maximum level of 80, every rarity of Memory in the game can be awakened using the corresponding Awakening Heart (purple for SR and gold for SSR).
How to Get Awakening Hearts
As of now, Awakening Hearts are rare and can be obtained via three methods.
Promise Pass Event
The first way to get Awakening Hearts is the Promise Pass Event. Similar to many other mobile games, Love and Deepspace has a 'pass' system where players can get items in exchange for points given by completing certain tasks. In this game, completing daily and weekly Agenda tasks gives experience used to raise the Promise Level.
Both SR and SSR Awakening Hearts are available as rewards for reaching certain Promise Levels. The SR Awakening Heart is claimable at level 45 and the SSR can be claimed 10 levels later at 55. However, unfortunately for some players, obtaining these items is not free. In order to receive these items, you must purchase the "Secret Promise" pack for $10 USD or the "Heartfelt Vow" pack for $15 USD. Only then are they unlocked and achievable.
Event Shops
Love and Deepspace is ever updating and changing and there are always a plethora of events happening at any given time. As these events take place, they usually require stamina to participate in and also come with their own limited-time edition of an in-game currency. This currency also unlocks a special shop that usually holds rare and unique items related to the event.
In almost all of the events so far, at least one Awakening Heart of varying rarity has been available to purchase in these limited shops. Be warned, however, that they are usually one of the most expensive items listed (typically 4-10x the price of other items in the shop) and can be quite difficult to save for. Because of this, it may be hard for free-to-play players to grind enough currency to purchase one.
In-Game Purchase
Awakening Hearts can also be purchased in-game in the pack shop. The packs change and rotate out approximately every two weeks, so Awakening Hearts may not always be available. Typically only the most expensive pack contains an SSR Awakening Heart, with the lesser-priced packs containing other goodies to use for your Memories. Currently, the pack including the SSR Awakening Heart is $50 USD.
How to Use Awakening Hearts
Unlocking the power hidden in Awakening Hearts is actually quite a simple process. Once entering your Memories tab, ensure that the Memory you want to awaken has reached the level cap of 80 before starting.
Once your chosen Memory is level 80, simply click on the Memory, then choose 'awaken'. The game will prompt you to consume the appropriate rarity of Awakening Heart, and voila, you're done!
How Awakening Hearts Work
Even if a Memory is at its max level, it's possible to feel like you're at a roadblock in the progress of the game. Though the leveling system is balanced, sometimes level 80 just isn't enough. Awakening Hearts are here to provide an extra buff and stat boost to Memories even after they've maxed out. Once awakened, Memories are stronger and have an animated glow effect on the card after completion!
