How to get 20 Operator Double Kills with Marksmen Rifles in MW3 Season 3

Two shots, two kills

Modern Warfare 3's Weekly Challenges can be oddly difficult despite not sounding as such. Scoring 20 Operator Double Kills with Marksmen Rifles doesn't seem that hard due to their high damage profiles, but you'd be surprised how troublesome it can be without the right setup.

How to complete the 20 Operator Double Kills with Marksmen Rifle challenge in MW3 Season 3

Kicking things off, you want to make use of the KVD Enforcer for this challenge as it is a high-powered semi-automatic rifle. This combination is ideal for this challenge because you need to score kills very quickly to complete it. For the sake of clarity, Operator Double Kills are two kills against players within one to two seconds. Despite the implication, you do not need to kill two players at the same time.

For your build, throw on attachments that prioritize ADS and Sprint to Fire speed. Unlike Sniper Rifles, Marksmen Rifles typically come with great ADS and Sprint to Fire speeds out of the box, so attachments focused on these two stats further empower its natural play style.

As with other multi-kill challenges in Modern Warfare 3, you want to play on maps and gamemodes that incentivize players to bunch up together, so you can quickly score back-to-back kills. Ideally, choose to play small maps like Stash House, Shipment, Meat, and Das Haus. These maps all have three straightforward lanes that players will naturally group in due to the limited space.

Additionally, you will want to play on Objective game modes such as Domination and Hardpoint. In these modes, there is always at least one centralized location on the map that will draw all players to it. Naturally, this leads to situations where players rush toward the point(s), allowing you to pick them off with your KVD quickly.

Speaking of which, you want to aim for headshots while using the KVD for this challenge. This shouldn't be surprising, as typical gameplay with Marksmen Rifles focuses on targeting the upper torso and head for the most efficient and consistent kills. Find yourself a secluded corner on any of the above-mentioned maps, and camp it out until you've completed the challenge.

All MW3 Season 3 Challenge Rewards

This challenge is just one of many necessary to nab the gold reward at the end of the tunnel; completion of enough Weekly Challenges earns you access to the brand new JAK Warden Aftermarket perk, giving you Akimbo Lockwood shotguns to run around with—a clear throwback to the madness that was Akimbo 1887 days. Additionally, you can earn the camo Allegiances once you've completed enough of these challenges. As always, you can check your progress in the Challenges menu.
