How to beat Knocklem & Menasting Terra Alpha Bosses in Palworld Sakurajima update

With a new island comes a lot of new Pals as well as Alpha Pals to defeat and brag about your victory. Here's how to beat Knocklem and Menasting Terra Alpha Bosses in Palworld's Sakurajima update.

How to beat Knocklem Alpha Boss in Palworld

Knocklem is an Alpha boss that can be found on the Sakurajima island at -675, 174. It's a level 55 Ground-type Pal, so you need to be very careful when attacking it.

First, I'd start with an aerial attack from Jetragon's Missile skill. This attack always confuses and stuns the Pal, so you'll have time to drop down and attack with your weapons. Try to touch down on high ground since there are a lot of rocks around it. By doing so, you can easily dodge out of the way of its ranged attacks while maintaining an advantage.

If you are looking to catch Knocklem, then make sure you've equipped the Ring of Mercy and control your Pals before they kill the boss (which has happened to me so many times). You'll also want to use Legendary Spheres or higher to catch this Pal.

The best weapon against Knocklem is the Rocket Launcher (especially if you have the Legendary schematic). When it comes to Pals, you should be bringing in your best Grass-type Pals. Lifmunk is always a great choice due to its Submachine Gun Skill. Mossanda is also a great option with its Grenade Launcher Skill, especially if you don't have your own Rocket Launcher.

Knocklem has very useful Work Suitabilities, especially the Transporting at level 4, so you should definitely keep it at the base where you do your mining and farming. This Pal is also great on a team since it has an attack and defense boost, which increases your own chances of survival.

How to beat Menasting Terra Alpha Boss in Palworld

Menasting Terra is an Alpha boss in Palworld that can be found on the Sakurajima island at -575, 333. This is a Ground-type level 54 Pal, so it is slightly weaker than Knocklem (but not by much).

The strategy for beating Menasting Terra is similar to what I've outlined for Knocklem above. If you have Jetragon, rain down on the boss with your Missiles. Stay on top of the cliffs to continue your attack once you have used it up (conveniently, both of these bosses have high ground around them).

Since this is a Ground Pal, bring in Lifmunk and Mossanda for adequate firepower. For your own firepower, anything from an Assault Rifle to a Rocket Launcher and even a Laser Gun if you have unlocked and crafted it is a good option here.

To protect yourself, have Pal Metal Armor and a Hyper Shield. These work great in a battle against Menasting Terra (and Knocklem), though their hits can still take out a big chunk of your defense and health, so be careful. If you want to catch and not kill Menasting Terra, bring in Legendary Spheres or higher quality if you have them.

While it doesn't excel in its Work suitabilities, Menasting Terra can still be useful in both mining and lumbering. However, definitely have it on your team when you are going Electric Organ farming, as it increases the drop rate.
