Hopeforest is the second area in Brighter Shores, but you need to unlock the Town Gate in Hopeport to unlock it. If you need to know how to unlock the gate and get to Hopeforest in Brighter Shores, you're in the right place.
How to unlock Hopeforest in Brighter Shores
As tempting as it is to follow the quests that appear in your Hopeport quest log, you don't need to finish any of the additional quests to unlock Hopeforest. All you need to focus on is the Main Story quest, which you would have started at the beginning of the game.
This is the quest line where you become a new recruit and have to run around a bit to learn all of the basics - like how to fight, the Teleport spell, and the Sense spell.
Quest objectives to complete to unlock Hopeforest
In the Main Story quest, Corporal Binns will tell you to talk to Robyn Nockright in the Training Ground to complete your bow training, but Robyn will only train you once you're a level 15 Guard.
If you're struggling to level up your Guard Profession, I highly recommend reading our guide on all Hopeport Professions. The guide will tell you where all of the enemies in Hopeport are located, and how you can quickly level up to Level 15.
Once you've reached Level 15 and completed your bow training, the next step is to get your total Hopeport Level to 60. You can do this by reaching Level 15 in all four Hopeport Professions or splitting the 60 levels any other way you wish to.
Report back to Corporal Binns when you've hit Level 60. He'll ask you to meet him in Hopeport Forest, and then run off. You'll immediately get a pop-up telling you that you've finished Episode 1 of the Main Story, and that you have been awarded access to Hopeforest.
Hopeforest location in Brighter Shores
Go to the Town Gates in Hopeport, located between the North and South Walls.
The gates will now be unlocked, and you'll be able to interact with them to be transported to Hopeforest. Now you can enjoy trying to complete Corporal Binns' latest training exercise and play hide and seek with the other recruits.
You have four new Professions in Hopeforest - Scout, Gatherer, Woodcutter, and Carpenter.
