In 2024 Roblox held the first edition of the event called The Hunt. Many have been expecting news of the 2025 edition and it's finally here. Roblox The Hunt Second Edition is confirmed and here's everything we know so far about the event.
The Hunt is a community based event where hundreds of already existing experiences build new quests that players can try in the two weeks it lasts. It was Roblox' official relaunch of the community-wide events and it was extremely successful. During the first edition, 34 million users took on the challenge of completing these quests and earning rewards.
If the event keeps the same format as the previous year, you can expect to be earning rewards by competing as many quests as possible. The best prize of the previous year was the Infinite Egg, a nod to their old Egg Hunt events, which you got after completing more than 95 quests. Hopefully this year will include something like that, as I'm going for the exclusivity of getting such an item.
More than 100 experiences joined the previous edition, and so far there are already plenty of confirmed or rumored experiences to be in The Hunt: Second Edition. I'm particularly excited about Fisch and Doors supposedly being in the event, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a DTI confirmation.
What we know so far is that each game will have two quests:
- A normal quest - likely specific to each game so you'll get to have fun experiencing different challenges.
- A hunter quest - where you look for items around the map, reminiscent of the Egg Hunt days.
In the previous year, the event started on March 3 and lasted until March 30. We could expect that it will be the same this year as well. As soon as anything else is confirmed about the event, we will update you! The closer we get to Easter, the bigger the hype is going to get.
