When creating your character, choose ghoul as your starter and to progress, you have to get RC. You have to eat NPCs or other players to get RC and the more RC you have, the more you will progress as a ghoul. However, the CCG will be on a hunt for you, so you have to be smart and stay on your toes while eating NPCs or other players. Furthermore, there will be ranks that you get from getting more RC.

How to get Kagune and evolve it

To get your first Kagune, you will need 5,000 RC. As you collect more and more RC, your screen will start blinking red. When you finally have 5,000 RC, you will have to take damage and drain your health below 50% to awaken your Kagune. Additionally, you will have to increase your rank to at least B+ before awakening, otherwise your Kagune will be unstable.

To evolve your Kagune, you have to do the same thing: Get more RC. Depending on what Kagune you have, you will have to collect its required number of RC to evolve. Additionally, when you are rank B+, you will be able to eat Kagune Fragments and Kagune Sacs, which will be needed depending on your Kagune.

Lastly, once you have all that, you have to eat another ghoul who has 34% of the required RC for your awakening. Once you are done with all of that, you will have successfully awakened your Kagune.

Ghoul RE: How to become CCG and progression

To become a member of the CCG, choose human when starting and locate the CCG building by pressing the locate key, P on PC. Once you identify the building, go there and talk to the receptionist. She will make you a CCG, and give you a choice between three starter weapons. Choose any you like to officially become a CCG. Once you are a CCG, you can go out and start hunting ghouls to increase your rank and progress.

How to get Quinque and evolve it

To get a Quinque, you have to increase your rank to Rank 1 Investigator, which is pretty easy. Once you have the ranking, get 1,500 Yen and talk to the NPC that gives you the briefcase at CCG headquarters. Use the money to buy the Quinque briefcase.

Now that you have a briefcase, you have to find and hunt a Ghoul who has awakened Kagune. Once you do that, use your briefcase on a knocked down Ghoul to unlock your Quinque. However, if you fail and die, you have to pay again to get the Quinque briefcase and try again.

To evolve your Quinque, you have to craft them with the NPC on the second floor of the CCG building. You will have to find the needed materials and blueprints for them. Once you have those, you can go ahead and get newer, more powerful Quinque.
