This list focuses on mods that maintain the core experience by improving existing features or adding new ones.

Pelayori's Cryo Storage mod

This all-encompassing mod brings a slew of useful features into the game to turn ARK Survival Ascended into your custom virtual playground. With Pelayori's Cryo Storage mod, you can spawn Dinosaurs, Cryopods, and Cryofridges and modify the Dino Cryo timer. Combined with changing the Cryoterminal's placement, improved inventory management, and many other features, this mod is an absolute must-have.

Additions Ascended mods

This is probably my favorite mod on this list because it eliminates the tedium of recrafting some important items, especially ones that really shouldn't degrade anyway. The Utilities Plus mod adds reusable replicas of essential items, such as the Reusable Parachute, Reusable Grappling Hook, or Reusable Torch, to make exploration that much easier.

Big Storage Box

ASA is so full of stuff that it gets exhausting building storage boxes to, well, store it all. Thankfully, this mod mostly does away with this issue, as it adds a hefty storage box that can carry a huge amount of items all at once.

Death Inventory Keeper

Depending on how far you are in ARK Scorched Earth, death can mean a complete restart because all your items are left where you died. This mod, however, allows you to keep all your items when you inevitably get eaten by a dinosaur.

Visual Storage

Since I'm not a fan of convoluted UIs, this mod is right up my alley. The Visual Storage mod is a successor of the ARK Survival Evolved's mod with the same name, changing the appearance of resource supplies based on their quantity. The more wood or meat you pack, the bigger their storage will appear, which helps me evaluate my supply status at a simple glance.

Admin Panel mod

If you're a server admin, you'll love this mod. The Admin Panel mod gives you unparalleled abilities for customizing your server map to your heart's desire. From One Button God Mode and Flying to Specator Mode to Dino Scanner and Teleporting, the possibilites are truly endless.
