So'lek's Merciless Grip

So'lek's Merciless Grip is similar to Kitangi's Master Grip, increasing your damage by 15% after hitting a weak spot. The only difference is the currency you use to purchase either item.

For So'lek's Merciless Grip, you can buy this using RDA chips you can scavenge after taking down an RDA outpost/base, while Kitangi's Master Grip requires Na'Vi favor gained by doing Na'Vi-based side quests or contributing to the Na'Vi clan.

With the same effects, you can use either one of these grip mods; however, keep in mind, if you have OCD as I do, So'lek's Merciless Grip fits So'lek's bow better than Kitangi's Longbow.

So'lek's Nimble Grip

So'lek's Nimble Grip essentially increases your shortbow's damage by 20% while sliding. You can grab this mod from So'lek once you unlock the final region of the game for two RDA Chips.

If your playstyle revolves around rushing through RDA bases with flair, you should definitely get this legendary grip mod for your short bow. You should also take note that shortbows are only meant for close-quarter combat, and fighting enemies from a distance is a more daunting task for the weapon.

Precision String

To further enhance So'lek's Nimble Grip, I opted to go with the Precision String Mod, which you can obtain through the Kame'tire hideout in exchange for clan favors. This mod boosts your attack damage by 18% if you hit an enemy's weak spot.

Overall, you'd get a bonus of 38% with both shortbow mods if you're sliding and hitting enemy weak spots, again making it vital when trying to take down RDA bases in CQC. This mod also makes the shortbow viable for hunting. However, you still will not be able to one shot most mature animals compared to the heavy bow.
