Fix your screen resolution to get the best Battlefield experience!

Battlefield 2042 early access beta gave players a chance to experience the game before it was officially released today. During the beta, players faced several in-game issues, which were relatively simple to fix.

One of the recurring issues included the screen resolution, which seemed to trouble players on all platforms. While there is no official announcement about this bug, it hinders the seamless experience the game aims to provide. Here's how to fix the screen resolution issues for PC, PS, and Xbox.

PlayStation Settings

  • Go to the PlayStation Home Screen
  • Access Settings menu
  • Access Sound and Screen (for PS4) or Sound and Video (PS5)
  • Change the Display Area Settings to make preferred changes
  • For PS5, change the display setting in Adjust Display Area

PC Screen Resolution Settings

  • Right-click on windows and select Device Manager
  • Access Display Adapters
  • Make the necessary changes depending upon your GPU
  • If your system already has Intel Integrated Graphics, then its best to disable that function. You will manually have to select "Disable device" for the Intel(R) HD Graphics
  • Restart PC and start the game in Fullscreen mode
  • If the issue persists, go to the game's installation folder, and click on Properties
  • Access Compatibility, and click on High DPI Scaling
  • Apply changes and restart the PC

Xbox Settings

  • Press the Xbox button to open options
  • Access Profile and System, and select Settings
  • Access TV Display options, it will be under the General tab
  • Select your preferred resolution (best 4K UHD)

These are the few ways players can adjust and change their display resolution in Battlefield 2042! If the issues seem to persist, it's best to wait for the bug fix in upcoming updates.
