  • ??? (Mourn the Dead)

Spooktober Challenge Guide

You can start your character out pretty much anywhere, and you don't have to worry too much about your stats. You will want to make at least some decent money, so focus on doing somewhat well in school and going to college to have enough to buy some property later. Age up throughout the early stages of your life, graduate High School, and then head to University. Pick a major that will get you on a decent career path, something like an accountant or businessman would be a good idea. You could also go down the celebrity path if you wanted, which is the easiest money.

Once you start to accumulate some cash, look for a haunted property under the Assets > Shopping > Real Estate Brokers. You can hopefully find a haunted house for relatively cheap. Once you find one and you can afford it, purchase it and look to encounter the ghost under the Spirits tab. You should see a Ghost or two listed under this option, and if you tap on it you can Exorcise or Try to Summon it. Use the summon option and hopefully you will encounter it but not be hurt in anyway. If it doesn't work, age up and try again!

Jack-o-Lantern

To carve a Jack-o-Lantern, you will just need to get lucky and experience this random event when you age up. You might want to set your BitLife aging process to half-year age up, so you will get more chances to encounter it. You can do this in the settings, where you will find the Half-Year Age Up option that you can check! Once you encounter the carving prompt, make sure to select the SCARY option or it won't count.

Gift Candy

To give candy to a child, you will need to go to the relationships window and look for someone on this list who is under 18. If you have a family, you could have siblings or nieces and nephews that fit the bill. Once you find a suitable target, use the gift option and look for Hard Candy. It doesn't always show up, but you can exit out of the option and open it again to get a new batch of choices. Once it appears, just give them the candy and it will count.

Wearing a Costume

To go out in a costume, you will need to rob a bank! Yes, you read the correctly, you will need to attempt the robbery and be wearing a costume when you do. If you aren't successful, you can close out of the BitLife app and re-open it to make it like it didn't happen. Then you can try again over and over until you are successful. You will probably still get credit if you aren't successful, but then you'll go to jail which is a bummer. You could wait to do this task last so then it won't matter if you go to jail or not!

Mourn the Dead

The hidden task for this challenge is to mourn someone. Once one of your relatives or friends has expired, you can head to the Relationships tab and look under the Late Relationships for the poor soul. Tap on their name and you will get the option to mourn them, and this will complete the final task of the challenge!
