All Keeper’s Shrine locations – Black Myth Wukong

As you continue your mythical journey through the mountains in Black Myth Wukong, one of the most important aspects of that journey is locating and unlocking Keeper's Shrines. If you're wondering where to find them, here's our handy guide to all Keeper's Shrine locations in Black Myth Wukong.

Keeper's Shrines are easy to spot while traveling through the various regions of Black Myth Wukong, as they resemble a small shrine swirling with incense smoke (as seen above). A glimmering Incense Trail will lead you to the nearest one that hasn't been unlocked.

To activate a new Keeper's Shrine, approach and interact with it to light the incense. After a brief cutscene, the Keeper's Shrine submenu will appear, showing everything you're allowed to do at these locations.

Essentially, Keeper's Shrines act as your fundamental rest stop locations throughout the game. Once you've unlocked at least two of them, you can use them first and foremost as a means of fast travel at no cost. Since the game doesn't have a world map to help with navigation, unlocking as many of these shrines as possible is very important.

Remember that you can use the Incense Trail Talisman in your inventory at any time (except during combat) to return you to the nearest Keeper's Shrine.

You can use Keeper's Shrines to do the following:

  • Rest - This fully replenishes your health and mana, and refills your Gourd as well. However, be aware that resting will also respawn any enemies you may have killed nearby.
  • Travel - This pulls up a sub-menu of all the other Keeper's Shrine points you've unlocked, and can fast travel to. There is no cost to fast-traveling to any of them.
  • Self-Advance - Use this to organize your Spells, reset your Spark points if you wish, and Cultivate Spirits by upgrading their abilities with Will points.
  • Store - Here you can buy a select variety of items that include beneficial tonics, crafting materials, and more. You can also sell any gold items you have for extra Will points.
  • Craft - Use this sub-menu to craft new pieces of armor and weapons as they become available.
  • Brew - With this you can create different beneficial brews for your Gourd, allowing you to make the most of health regeneration.
  • Make Medicines - This allows you to use the variety of plant ingredients you've gathered in your travels to make medicines that provide you with strong buffs for battle.
  • Retrieve Spirits - Use this to collect any lost spirits you might have left behind after defeating a yaoguai (e.g. - Wandering Wight). If there are no lost spirits for you to collect, this option won't be available in the shrine menu.

All Keeper's Shrine Locations in Black Myth Wukong

Below we've listed all Keeper's Shrine locations found in each chapter of the game, and how to reach them. Some aren't immediately available and require you to return to that respective area after obtaining certain items or completing certain tasks.
