All Endings and how to unlock them in Blasphemous 2

How does Blasphemous 2 end?

Blasphemous 2's story concludes with its ending, but like its predecessor, there are multiple endings. After getting all the endings in Blasphemous, I wanted to do the same in the sequel. Here's how you can unlock every ending in Blasphemous 2.

How to Unlock All Blasphemous 2 Endings

There are two endings to the base game of Blasphemous 2. Both endings are tied to an achievement, so you must get both Ending A and Ending B if you want to get all achievements in Blasphemous 2. Here is how to get all endings in Blasphemous 2.

Blasphemous 2 Ending A

Ending A is the secret ending and can only be unlocked by completing a specific requirement. Ending A can be seen as the good ending and leaves the game on a happy note. However, you will not see Ending A unless you gather the correct items and properly place them. You must open the Father Door with the cryptic message, "The Father said: 'Four Envoys wrapped my body in soft linen cloths." Here are the items you need for Ending A.

  • Jaloque Figurine - Bottom Right Placement
    • Purchase from Medardo and Escolástico in Crimson Rain.
  • Cierzo Figurine - Top Left Placement
    • Use the third Forgotten Tribute with the Procession of Shadows. After traveling to the Sacred Entombments, open the chest.
  • Lebeche Figurine - Bottom Left Placement
    • Complete the House of Grief and Hatred combat challenge.
  • Gregal Figurine - Top Right Placement
    • Find all 33 Cherubs and climb to the top of the tower.

With all four figurines in hand, you can complete the next step of the requirements. Place the Figurines in the order below so that all four of the ones listed above are facing the middle of your Altarpiece of Favours menu. After placing the Figurines in this order, you can open the right door in the Temple of Five Doves and claim the Incense of the Envoys. With the incense in hand, climb Crimson Rain, use the Incense of the Envoys, and defeat the final bosses to get Ending A.

Blasphemous 2 Ending B

Ending B is the default ending and one that most players will get. In my opinion, it is the bad ending, so if you want the Penitent One to have a happy ending, you must unlock Ending A. To get this ending, all you have to do is complete the game by defeating the Three Regrets bosses, the Temple of Five Dove bosses, and the final boss. There are no special requirements for unlocking Ending B.

Does Blasphemous 2 Have a True Ending?

It's hard to say if there is a true ending for Blasphemous 2. Ending A could be seen as the true and secret ending, but there is no confirmation this is the ultimate fate of The Penitent One and Cvstodia. The first Blasphemous had several endings, but the true ending didn't come until the DLC was released. The same could be true for Blasphemous 2 if DLC does come out for the sequel.
