Bit by bit we are slowly piecing together the puzzle that Treyarch is drip-feeding the fan base. It started with an out-of-the-blue teaser website, then has quickly evolved as the first official trailer counts down to its release. One clear takeaway from this game of cat and mouse is that Saddam Hussein may just be the main antagonist of Black Ops 6.
Twitter user Reality bunched together a neat collection of information based on all the breadcrumbs being dropped, as you can see below. The first is an image of the man himself: Saddam Hussein on the front cover of the Black Ops 6 teaser trailer that has yet to be released; the second is an image inside an extravagant-looking building that appears to have hosted a battleground. Finally, the third image shows the coordinates of Saddam Hussein's palace in Baghdad, Iraq.
Just to show how far fans and the devs will go in this hunt for information: you can find the coordinates to Saddam Hussein's palace in the Black Ops 6 live-action trailer's thumbnail. After reading and looking into this information myself, I am left with a single thought: Black Ops 6 is shaping up to be exactly what Call of Duty players have needed. Let's hope Activision hasn't used up its last crumbs of goodwill.
I find myself trying to contain the hype that is building since for the last three years it has been disappointment after disappointment from Call of Duty, but the promised land may be right around the corner.
Black Ops 6 is expected to be released sometime at the end of this year.
That's everything we have on the Black Ops 6 antagonist. If you're looking for more Call of Duty content then check out CoD campaigns aren’t what they used to be and new players are missing out, MW3 Zombies ‘Most engaging third mode’ ever, minimal content planned, and more on Pro Game Guides.
