Recently, competitive settings for the Call of Duty League and Challenger Events were announced. This includes a list of weapons, maps, modes, etc., that are allowed in the forthcoming tournament.
In addition to the official ruleset, CoD players and professionals unanimously introduce an extra layer of restrictions every year as the Gentlemen's Agreement (GAs). According to Dot Esports, here's the Call of Duty: Vanguard Gentlemen's Agreement List:
- Weapons
- SMG
- 'PPSh-41' is restricted.
- Sniper Rifle - One allowed per team in Search and Destroy.
- SMG
- Attachments
- All magazine attachments are restricted.
- 'Shrouded' proficiency for Sniper Rifles is restricted.
- 'VDD 189mm Short' barrel for MP40 is restricted.
- Pistol attachments that increase fire-rate are restricted.
- Throwables
- Lethal
- 'Gammon Bomb' is restricted.
- Tactical
- 'Smoke Grenade' - One allowed per team in Search and Destroy.
- Lethal
- Killstreaks
- 'Bombing Run' is restricted.
- Other
- Auto-tactical Sprint restricted.
- 'Space Issue' MP40 Blueprint is restricted.
Furthermore, the GA List for the regional Call of Duty Challengers Events include:
- Europe
- 'STG44' (Assault Rifle) is restricted.
- Two 'Smoke Grenades' are allowed per team in Search and Destroy.
- Latin America
- 'STG44' (Assault Rifle) is restricted.
