Call of Duty League Resurgence Rebirth Island quads tournament is currently live in Warzone. The online championship allows players from across the North American region to compete for a grand prize pool. Here's a guide covering all the major details about the new Rebirth Island tournament.
CDL Resurgence Format, Stages, and Scoring System
After successfully registering your four-player team on GameBattles, you can start competing by dropping into the CDL Resurgence playlist in Call of Duty: Warzone. The three stages of competition in CDLR are as follows:
- In-Game Open Stage: Any eligible and registered squad can compete in this stage. The top 40 teams in the leaderboard will advance to the next stage. The 10 best performances during the open playlist will be used to determine the score of each competing team.
- Qualification Stage: The second level of the tournament is split into two sub-divisions:
- Round 1: 40 teams will be divided into four groups of 10 teams each. Each team will compete against nine other group members in 4 maps. The top five teams in each group will proceed to the next round.
- Round 2: Two groups with 10 teams each are formed in the final qualifier round. The top four teams in each group will advance to the Semis.
- Main Stage: In the Semis, two groups will be formed after a shuffle. Each group will consist of six CDL teams and four teams from the open qualifiers. For the Finals, the top five teams from each Semi group will compete for the trophy.
The CDLR Rebirth Island scoring and points work as follows:
- Each kill per squad member - 1 Point
- Point Multiplier depending upon team's placement in the match:
- 1st place - 2x Multiplier
- 2nd and 3rd place - 1.5x Multiplier
- 4th to 10th place - 1x Multiplier
