How to get kills with a non-Drill Charge underbarrel in MW3

During the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 camo progression, you will come across some weird challenges such as kills while fully-loaded, direct-impact kills, and even kills with a non-Drill Charge underbarrel.

Players seem confused with the Forged camo challenge for the Holger 556 Assault Rifle that asks you to get 25 kills with a non-Drill Charge underbarrel attachment with the gun. In this guide, I've explained how exactly you can complete this objective.

What is a non-Drill Charge underbarrel in MW3?

You can just use any foregrip underbarrel attachment for this camo challenge. The ones that work include the SPW 40mm HE, Corvus Masterkey, and JAK Purifier (see image). These mods can be found at the end of the underbarrel attachments list and you may need to unlock them via Armory Unlocks daily challenges. JAK Purifier can be availed via Tier A14 of the Battle Pass during Season 1.

Equip any of the aforementioned attachments on the Holger 556 and add the remaining as per your preference (I suggest mobility-improving attachments). For this challenge, you don't have to shoot the gun like you normally do, instead, switch firing mode and use the underbarrel to get kills. The input for selecting firing mode will be displayed at the bottom right corner under the weapon (see image). The default button for it is B on a keyboard and Left D-pad on a controller.

I prefer the Corvus Masterkey attachment that gives you an underbarrel shotgun to use at close range. You can instead use the SPW 40mm HE underbarrel grenade launcher or the JAK Purifier flamethrower. The best way to get kills with a non-Drill Charge underbarrel in MW3 is by playing the Hardcore mode. You can even filter the playlist and select Meat 24/7 only so that you always get a close-quarters combat map where it's easier to get eliminations.
