How to use Aether Tools in MW3 Zombies (MWZ)

In Call of Duty MW3 Zombies, certain items like Aether Tools can instantly upgrade the quality of your weapons making them much more efficient. I love using these items to get good weapons from the start, and here's how you can find Aether Tools in MW3 Zombies.

How to upgrade weapons with Aether Tools in MW3 Zombies

To upgrade your weapons with Aether Tools, you'll need to find one of these items first. Improving your weapons is essential for taking on tougher zombie bosses, as your guns will dish out more damage and provide several other boosts.

Obtaining Aether Tools is relatively easy, and you can get them by completing contracts, earning mission rewards, and from loot caches. Slaughtering big groups of zombies can also offer Aether Tools as a reward. Crafting is also an option, but you'll need to find the Aether Tool schematics on the map first.

Remember, these items can be used once to improve the quality of your weapon, and there are three different varieties of Aether Tools you'll find in MWZ. You'll find uncommon, rare, and epic variants of the Aether Tools that upgrade weapons to their corresponding rarity. I used an uncommon Aether Tool to upgrade the quality of my base weapon - check the slideshow image above to see how this looks in-game. There are stronger types of zombies found in difficult threat zones, so you must acquire decent weapons and equipment before challenging them.

To use an Aether Tool, simply open the inventory and click/select the one you want to use on your weapons. You can also exfil with Aether Tools in your rucksack and store them in the Acquisition Stash. This way, you can start a new match and instantly use the Aether Tool after spawning in-game to upgrade the quality of weapons.
