Icebreaker DMZ Mission Guide

Icebreaker walkthrough.

The story faction missions in Call of Duty: Warzone DMZ are usually very challenging. However, the Tier 2 Black Mous mission Icebreaker is pretty straightforward and can be easily completed in a few minutes. Deploy into the Vondel map and follow the instructions listed below.

  • Pickup the Letter Of Introduction and Tracker from the Vondel Zoo dead drop.
  • Deliver the Letter Of Introduction to the Phalanx dead drop at the University.
  • Deliver the Tracker to the same Phalanx dead drop.

Where to Pick up the Letter Of Introduction and Tracker from Vondel

For the first step in Icebreaker, you need to visit the dead drop dumpster in the Zoo POI in southwest Vondel. (I've shown the precise location of the dead drop in the images above.) Upon opening the dumpster, you'll find two items inside: a Tracker and a Letter Of Introduction. Stow both of these items into your backpack.

Where to Deliver the Letter Of Introduction and Tracker

After collecting the items from the Vondel Zoo dead drop, go to University—the northernmost POI on the map. I recommend you take a vehicle there to reach it fast, but keep an eye out on enemy players. At the marked location, you'll find the Phalanx dead drop right behind the gas station. Open the dumpster and deposit the Letter Of Introduction and Tracker from your backpack, then close the dead drop and the Icebreaker mission should be complete.
