MW3 and Warzone bring anime girls back (again) with new event rewards

Ah Call of Duty. I remember my first anime girl skin pack, t'was the Anime Express pack from Modern Warfare 2019. And Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone continue to carry the torch with the new Echo Endo event, the final reward for which is yet another anime girl camo.

And what a reward it is, with Sledgehammer Games bringing back their favorite... OC(?) from all the way back in Vanguard. The community response to it seems positive, which seems strange for Call of Duty, but any animated camo being doled out for free seems to win some brownie points with people.

Me too man, me too. But my guilty pleasures aside, how do you go about snagging this Louvre worthy piece for yourself? You can find out by reading our full breakdown of All Echo Endo Live event rewards, but basically you'll just need to earn a whole boat load of XP. And once you've met all the requirements, you'll have snagged yourself a universal weapon camouflage to put on all of your favorite weapons, which actually means that one loadout you've made that sort of works sometimes.

On top of generally being quite a cute skin, as mentioned previously, it's even animated, which is typically reserved for some of the harder to grab camos out there. Sadly it's nothing too flashy, and just sort of... scrolls, and reminds me that I'd still love an option to disable camo animations, but I don't think Sledgehammer are going to take my opinion to heart.

This also marks the first time Call of Duty have allowed people to earn an anime girl skin for free, with them having exclusively sold in store bundles in the past, so it's definitely in your (my) best interests to grab it whilst the event lasts, which is until August 21st.

But then again, maybe you're like this user, who quite frankly has the only reasonable reaction to this skin being released, and want nothing to do with this raw degeneracy.
