The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Beta has gone live one month before the game's global launch. While the number of weapons and maps available during the showcase is limited, that isn't going to stop the community from creating and capturing some insane moments in multiplayer. Keep reading for the best clips from the MW3 Beta.
Top 5 insane clips from the Modern Warfare 3 Beta
Below are some of the best and most popular clips from the first week of the Modern Warfare 3 Beta.
MW3 will be trickshotting central
The original Modern Warfare 2 marked the origin of trickshot clips in Call of Duty and first-person shooters in general. In the above clip, you can see players trying to land an impossible shot onto the final opponent without scoping in and by adding unnecessary movement to make the kill-cam look insane. With the original MW2 maps coming back, you'll see many more of these trickshots in MW3. Below is a bonus clip from the same location on the same map called Estate.
It's the year of Snipers
The base player health has been increased from 100 to 150 HP in MW3, which in turn increases the time-to-kill (TTK). This means Sniper Rifles will be overpowered this year. While other guns will require four to five shots to kill someone, Snipers will be able to do that in one perfectly landed shot. Watch how Ghost Salsa goes on a multi-kill rampage with their quickscope sniper in MW3 Beta.
Hacker already spotted MW3 PS Beta
Cheaters have been ruining the gameplay experience in Call of Duty Multiplayer and Battle Royale. Usually, hackers are associated with PCs, but Duqys managed to capture one in his lobby during the PlayStation-exclusive MW3 Beta. However, this doesn't seem to be a widespread problem as of now.
Crazy movement clips are back
While there are movement enjoyers in the new game, there are also abusers exploiting the dolphin dive, as you can see in the clip. In general, players are appreciative of the improvements to movement mechanics like sliding and strafing in the MW3 Beta. But you'll also encounter players who'll troll their enemy into giving up.
The Battle Rage menace
During the first couple of days of the Modern Warfare 3 Beta, you saw everyone use the Battle Rage tactical, as it was extremely overpowered. When wielded, it made the user a bullet sponge and immune to damage as you can see in the clip. However, Sledgehammer Games soon released a patch to fix the broken equipment, which is now in a balanced state.
