What is Iron Trials in Warzone?

With Call of Duty, Iron Trials has been on and off again. Despite being a staple for what felt like a long time, it hasn't been a permanent one for quite some time now. Iron Trials is a much more difficult and intense version of Warzone and only recommended for skilled players.

Iron Trials '84 is fundamentally a Battle Royale game mode. The biggest difference is that this mode was made for players who thought regular Warzone was too easy.

What's different in Iron Trails?

There are many changes in Iron Trials that help players show off their skill. They are as follows:

• The matches are much shorter. The round times have been reduced by 12%, and the speed of the circle collapse is increased by 12%. By doing this, the average battle royale match time is shortened by about two minutes.
• There are no free loadout drops. If you want access to Perks and custom-built weapons, you'll need to pay a premium for them.
• There are fewer vehicles. Dirt bikes and ATVs are the only vehicles available, leaving you exposed to enemy fire.
• Increased Buy Station price. The players are normally rolling in money, but the Buy Station increases their prices:
  • Armor Bundle: $1,500 to $2,000
  • Gas Mask: $3,000 to $4,000
  • Cluster Strike: $3,000 to $4,000
  • Precision Strike: $3,500 to $4,500
  • Self Revive: $4,000 to $5,000
  • UAV: $4,000 to $6,000
  • Loadout Drop Marker: $10,000 to $15,000

• No easy Melee kills. Melee Finisher Damage isn't available in this mode, so you'll need to earn the win with bullets.
• All players have increased Base Health. The Base Health of all players has been raised to 250.
• Health Regeneration has been lowered. In addition to increasing the regen delay timer from 5 to 7 seconds, the regen rate per second has been lowered from 120 to 40.
• There's new starting equipment. Players are armed with a .44 Magnum and a sledgehammer.
• There is a limited selection of weapons in the Gulag. There are no akimbo, semi-auto, or fully automatic shotguns. You're down to the bare essentials, so do whatever it takes to survive.
• You don't start over if you win a Gulag match. Assuming a player survives the Gulag match, they will redeploy with whatever equipment they gained from it. Be aware of these resources.
