Coromon is a monster-taming RPG heavily inspired by Pokémon and other games such as The Legend of Zelda and Golden Sun. These combine to form the gameplay of Coromon, which includes overworld traveling and turn-based battles. This may leave you wondering if there will be a competitive scene for Coromon.

The answer is yes—the TRAGsoft developers confirmed in the CoromonTheGame AMA that they intend to balance the game competitively after launch. There will also be seasons with multiple tiers for players to earn in ranked matches.

Will Coromon have tournaments?

The developers confirmed that they do not have plans for an official tournament scene. But this does not mean unofficial tournaments will not be held. With the Casual PvP lobbies, the Coromon community can set up their own tournaments.

Games such as Coromon thrive on the community, which TRAGsoft intends to support post-launch. Those looking to train up the best team and test their strategies should join the Coromon community to participate in tournaments.
